Ξεκίνησα να ασχολούμαι με το κόσμημα πριν από πέντε χρόνια. Τελειώνοντας τις σπουδές μου στην αργυροχρυσοχοία, άνοιξα το δικό μου εργαστήριο στο οποίο δουλεύω τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια. Στα κομμάτια μου χρησιμοποιώ ασήμι σε συνδυασμό με τιτάνιο, χάντρες και χρώμα. Θα περιέγραφα το στυλ της δουλειάς μου ως μινιλαστικό και σύγχρονο, με επιρροές από οργανικές και γεωμετρικές φορμές.
Το μαγαζί μου στο etsy το άνοιξα τον Οκτώβριο του 2008 (έκλεισα τον πρώτο μου χρόνο!). Είμαι αρκέτα ευχαριστημένη από την μέχρι στιγμής πορεία του, από τον αριθμό των πωλήσεων και από την επισκεψιμότητά του. Αν αναλογιστεί κανείς τον όγκο των αντικειμένων προς πώληση στο etsy, είναι πολύ θετικό ότι ένα ελληνικό μαγαζί χαίρει αναγνώρισης από αρκετές μεριές του πλανήτη. Πέρα από τις πωλήσεις μου στο etsy, σε Αμερική και Καναδά, τα κοσμήματά μου πωλούνται σε τρια καταστήματα σε Αθήνα και Θεσσαλονίκη.
Χρειάζεται αρκετή δουλειά και υπομονή για να είναι επιτυχημένο ένα μαγαζί στο etsy. Αυτό που ανακάλυψα μετά από έναν χρόνο είναι ότι το κατάστημα πρέπει να ανανεώνεται συστηματικά με καινούρια προϊόντα, να υπάρχει συνοχή στην παρουσίασή τους και να συμμετέχει κανείς όσο περισσότερο γίνεται στην κοινότητα του etsy.

I started making jewelry five years ago. After completing my studies in metalsmithing, I opened up my own studio and I have been working there for the last two years. I make silver jewelry combined with titanium, beads and color. I would describe my style of work as minimalistic and contemporary, with influences of organic and geometric forms.
I opened my etsy shop in October 2008 (I had my first year anniversary!). I am quite pleased with its so far course, with the number of sales and the shop’s visitors. If you take in mind the enormous amount of items being sold on etsy, it is very encouraging that a Greek shop is admired from around the world. Besides my sales on etsy to the United States and Canada, my jewelry is sold in three shops in Athens and Thessaloniki.
It takes a lot of work and patience to run a successful etsy shop. What I discovered over the past year is that it’s necessary to update your shop systematically with new products; there must be a consistency in the presentation of the items and an investment of time to participate in etsy’s community.
